Hello, world.

Or maybe more accurately, hello again.

This is my first time sharing my thoughts online under my actual name. I have been on the internet for a long time. Reddit, Instagram, YouTube, and plenty of other corners where I spent years commenting on the state of the world.

If I am being honest, a lot of that time was spent arguing with strangers.

That turned out to be a bad trade. It was draining, time-consuming, and not especially productive. Too many late nights posting "logic" into obvious bait, followed by groggy mornings and a general sense of being more irritable than I wanted to be.

So I am changing how I show up online.

I have mostly stepped away from social media at this point. My LinkedIn still exists, mostly because deleting it feels like paperwork. This site is different. It is a place for me to think in public, at my own pace, without optimizing for engagement, outrage, or dopamine hits from notifications.

Think of it as a workbench.

A place to share side projects, analyses, and ideas that I am already exploring for my own curiosity. Some of it may be useful to other people. Some of it will just be me working through things out loud.

If you know me, you may feel morally obligated to give me a hard time about having a blog. I expect nothing less and look forward to it. If you do not know me and somehow ended up here anyway, welcome. I am at least as confused as you are.
